About the Role Reporting to the broader SAP leadership group, you will take ownership of solution design, system integrity and continuous improvement across financial accounting, controlling, product costing and project systems. Working closely with business stakeholders, you’ll drive the evolution of SAP platforms, ensuring solutions remain fit-for-purpose and aligned with enterprise architecture and best practice.
This position plays a central role in coordinating functional delivery across multiple initiatives, supporting day-to-day operations and promoting future-focused system enhancements.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide expert leadership across SAP FICO, PS and related costing processes, championing quality design and robust system architecture
- Produce clear functional documentation, solution designs and technical specifications
- Assess the downstream impact of configuration or process changes across integrated SAP modules
- Oversee project-related activities including training, process mapping, data readiness, testing and cutover
- Develop and manage functional and integrated test scenarios; support UAT cycles
- Deliver responsive BAU support including issue resolution, user enablement and performance optimisation
- Proactively identify opportunities to streamline processes, improve system usage and support business growth
To succeed in this role, you will have:
- 10+ years’ experience delivering and supporting SAP solutions in a technical or functional leadership capacity
- Advanced knowledge of SAP Finance, Controlling, Investment Management and Project Systems across ECC and/or S/4HANA
- Strong understanding of integration touchpoints across SAP modules
- Proven ability to influence, communicate and collaborate with diverse business groups
- Strong analytical skills and a passion for continuous improvement
