As an SAP Payroll Officer , you will be responsible for managing and supporting SAP Payroll and HCM systems, ensuring accurate payroll processing and system configuration. This role combines day-to-day payroll support with operational payroll delivery, BPO services, system configuration, and testing.
Key responsibilities
- Manage support tickets and provide SAP Payroll and HCM support to administrators, payroll staff, and end users
- Process service requests, implement minor system changes, and test configuration updates
- Work with third-party payroll tools, including Spinifex and TIK
- Deliver operational payroll services, including payroll preparation, running, release, EFT payments, and reconciliations
- Calculate and process termination payments, end-of-financial-year reconciliations, and payroll reporting
- Experience in SAP Payroll administration
- Strong working knowledge of SAP Payroll, including processing, validation, reconciliations, and post-pay activities
- Experience supporting complex payroll environments
- Ability to provide BAU payroll support, including issue investigation, resolution, and responding to payroll-related queries
- Sound understanding of Australian payroll legislation , superannuation, tax, and compliance requirements
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet payroll deadlines
- Exceptional communication skills
